    need recomendations....

I'm sure there are more than a few of you on here with s197's that have built motors, eventually the plan is to go with a roots style blower with about 18#s of boost, but for now I just want to be able to spray more than a 100-125 shot and not worry about the stock internals, any suggestions? Where did you get your kits, how much were they, where's the best place to get the kit installed(I'm in cedar park but can take the car as far as Waco or San Antonio to get it built) what other expenses should I take into consideration? Any info you can give at all will help out...thanks guys and girls!

My built motor was all done by Kotzur racing heads, they did a fantastic job and i've been happy with the product so far. Best advice I can give you is choose your shops wisley who is going to be installing the motor. Just remember the guy selling you the idea of getting your stuff installed isn't always the one working on the cars...

As far as a shortblock goes MMR makes a good product, Livernois shortblocks are also very good. There is also a place that JPC racing uses called RGR, they have been pumpin out some KILLER short blocks and long blocks latley, if I could have done it all over again I would have went with a 323 from RGR.
    sold.
