Need some help here...

So, yeah I have a cool '05 convertable like i've said before. I have tan leather interior; and I've been noticing that the seats are turning grey... I guess from people's jeans... anyone know how I can clean them to get the grey off and/or how I can prevent it from happening? ... or am I just screwed?

If you haven't tried using "Lexol" yet, give it a try. It's the only product I use on leather. One is a cleaner and the other is a conditioner. You should be able to find it at PepBoys. Good luck.

I always used Tuff Stuff to clean anything on the leather. Then immediately put on a good coat or two of the Meguiars conditioner.

I wanted to tell you the Tuff Stuff works!!! I did John's interior today and it took all the "gray" out of the seats, afterwards I put on a couple of coats of conditioner, they look really good!

Cool, I'm glad it worked. It also leaves that CLEAN smell in the interior. I try to scub my cloth interior down every few months with the stuff to keep everything looking spic n span. You can basically clean the entire interior with it.

The only part I don't use it on though is the dash. On there all I use is a soapy rag and then rinse with a clean rag, dry with a dry rag. Putting chemicals on the dash can cause it to dry out and crack because of exposure to the sun over time.

yeah, lexol leather cleaner followed by the lexol conditioner rocks. it's best if you use polishing sponges for the process; it'll pick up a lot of the gunk

well the seats are spray colored from the factory, it may be wearing off~ if it doesnt come off from cleaning then make ford replace them under warranty, maybe you can get some vat dyed seat covers.
