New to the Mustang thang.

I just bought a 1965 Fastback that is in really good condition. It was running 7 years ago, then the owner stuffed it into a barn and didn't touch. A couple of his boys burned up some wires and that is where it stayed until I rescued it. I plan on doing a pretty complete restore, but I haven't a clue about Mustangs and 289 engines. I bought some books, but....

Anyway I am hoping to use forums here to answer some descrete questions.

That and someone could tell me how to post a picture embedded with my message since all I could figure out was the picture attachments.

Hey! A fellow Vintage Mustang owner!

Welcome, welcome .... welcome to the Dark Side ... where you pockets miraculously become empty and your free time vaporizes!

What a lovely vehicle you have there .... just beautiful!

Before you hack and chop anything ... run that VIN number and make sure it's not something super-spectacular ....

C,A or K code? Either way looks like a nice project. I hope you have deep pockets or can do 90-100% of the work yourself.
