    New V6 girl from Texas :)

    Hey, my name is Heather I'm from San Antonio, Texas but I'm currently going to school in College Station (GIG'EM AGGIES!!). I drive a '99 sixer (the important mods are in my sig.. the ones not included are performance tune w 93 octane (X-CAL 3 tuner), CAI, EGR delete, rear seat delete and cosmetic mods obv.) I do most of the work myself with some help of course, and yes my avatar is me.

    I see there are a lot more girls on this forum than I expected, good to see women holding there own in a man's world, although I would like to see more performance mods rather than cosmetic but I'm not one to judge.



    Quick note: I have a 218.226 .55/.55 108lsa cam getting ready to go in, any suggestions on valve springs/roller rockers? Haven't bought any of that stuff yet and I can't make a decision on what I want.. Thanks!

    im not sure of the split ports and everything, but i always wanted to swap the eaton from a super coupe onto my old 95.. would be even cooler to see on a new edge.

    There is a kit available to put the 03 cobra m112 on a new edge v6.. pretty nice setup.

    welcome to LSS, car looks great, the off set grill emblem is nice. i like the windstar intake but im thinking of buying an 01 windstar upper and lower just to have different set ups. if your not on v6power.net you should check it out

    the ls1 yellow valve springs work well and can handle quite a bit of lift. and the 1.8 roller rockers from harland sharp should more then sufice

    Yeah I have the ws upper manifold and a port/polish lower, so far I like it, hasn't given me any problems. Thanks on the spring/rocker suggestion, I need to look more into it, ask my local V6 buddy I'm surprised he isn't on here bashing me already

    I actually made my grill really cheap too haha but it's an aquired taste, some people love it and others hate it. I'm personally a big fan :P

    you're gonna love the 218/226 cam gonna sound good on your 3.8. i have the 224/230 on my 4.3 stroker and it's got a meannn idle. I've never met you before but welcome to LSS!
