no way man, it's ballsy even if it's been restored 100%. a cousin of mine was riding in his 65 i believe it was (mechanically restored supposedly!) and his axles slipped outwards on the highway! his wheel started wobbling horribly of course and he steered a little left until he stopped so that the axle didn't decide to just go chill on the highway. :haha3:
a friend of mine in a 67 has problems with the electrical dying on her in cold weather, or moisture, but she doesn't know the cause for sure yet. she once was in the rain at night on the highway and her windshield wipers and headlights went out. skeeerey! don't ask me how that happened, i don't know if i want to know myself! |
