Talking Noob question!

Will a stock 99-04 cobra supercharger fit on my 02 V6? Or in other words I wanna supercharge my car but definetly don't have a ton to spend on a supercharger. Thanks!

99-02 cobra's did not come with the m112, the 03-04 did however. It will not fit on the stock upper intake, but SSM in the process of making a boxed upper for it. It would be arround $3000 for everything, if you do some shopping arround.

Well 1-2 grand sounds better than even some of the cheapest kits I've seen for my car, which is like 3-4 grand.

I've heard somewhere on another mustang forum that the 03 & 04 supercharger will fit.

Will fit with some modification. To do this swap you will need:

2003-2004 Cobra 39lb injectors
2003-2004 Cobra 90MM MAF

2003-2004 Cobra supercharger pulley
2003-2004 Cobra throttle and cruise control bracket
2003-2004 Cobra air intake tube
2003-2004 Corbra TPS sensor

1999-2004 Mustang V6 upper intake gasket
M112 intake adaptor
PCV delete
Tuning EGR delete
IAT relocation
CNC MAF flange
255lph fuel pump (94-97 cars) or 310lph fuel pump (98-04 cars)
NGK TR7IX spark plugs
Gatorback belt #4061182 or 6PK3002(metric part number)
Air Filter
M112 EGR delete
12 bolts for adapter to V6 lower intake
12 washers for intake bolts
10 bolts for M112 to adapter
4 bolts for the plenum to the M112
4 bolts for the throttlebody to the plenum
4 bolts for the MAF to CNC flange
2 bolts for IAC delete to plenum
2 bolts for IAC relocation
2 bolts for IAT relocation to M112
2 bolts for Cobra throttle cable bracket
2 clamps for air filter
Vaccume caps for air intake (optional if keeping the PCV system)

Custom made pieces:
03/04 Cobra EGR delete
Coli pack bracket
Radiator hose
PCV system (optional)
IAC relocation
IAC blockoff plate
Idler pulley setup
IAT relocation plate

I don't see this being done for 1-2 grand, but you could find a used supercharger for that price though.

Ok so it's better just to buy a kit then, because it will come out to be around the same in price?

I don't think SSMS is doing the boxed upper thing anymore either.

wouldnt the thunderbird supercoupe blower fit? thats the same roots style blower that came factory installed on a v6.... google search and see, im sure its been done before. (but dont forget, with a blower, you need bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, bigger mass air/throttle body, custom tune, etc...)

Not without a pointless amount of work to go back single port & get a smaller blower.(m90)
