Not to often you will ever get a chance to see one of these....

All ORIGINAL NEVER RESTORED 68 GT 500 KR.

Belongs to a close friend of ours, he has a few very desired mustangs in his collection. This just being one of my favorite. Margaret(my wife) and I took it out the other day for lunch and just cruised with it for a while. He hasn't drove the car since 03, I put about 20 miles on it last year for him so I figured it was about time to get it out again.

lol, hell I drive it like I stole it. These cars are true hot rods. It's not going to break, if it does oh well. It's just a car, he'll have it fixed.

Honestly we just cruise with it. Although I get a lil right foot heavy at times and get to feel the true power of a 428 CJ, that bitch will get NASTY all the way into drive and then I let out of it

I'll go over today and grab the 65 GT350 Vert, hell it's one of 5.

I just don't care much for it. I'd rather cruise one if his fastbacks.

The ONLY thing to ever be replaced on the car are the tires.

Awesome car.

I like how the new KR's hood is almost identical to the older one.

Let's just say the value of that car is more than most of us would see in twenty year's of earnings!!!

BTW - It is beyond incredible that this car has never been restored!!!

I would asume high six figures just like the one below.

From:MustangMadam.Com » Shelby Clone and GT 500 KR

This is a VERY rare 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR below. It was SO hot. “KR” stands for “King of the Road” for good reason. A car like this goes for around $200,000 right now, the same value as the Ferrari that was down the block from this car. It was definitely a show car, but looked like the owners also had fun “using” the car. I truly believe in DRIVING your car, not just garaging it 24/7. You have to SHARE with the world, and people appreciate this a lot. I have had people tell me that just seeing a classic mustang made their day.
