not sure how to describe this problem

this has happened 4 time in the past month. this has happened when i was almost out of gas and three times when i had plenty in the tank.

anyways, on to the problem. my odometer, clock/radio, and cd player (all LCD's) will start to flicker. if i give it gas during this time, it will bog like it's dying on me. like i am out of gas or a vac tube fell off.

and i've checked what few things i could. no fuses are looking wierd/burnt out and checked my cai.

once, (yesterday) i gave it gas to catch up to traffic and it hooked pretty good and the traction caused it to happen. it never happens for more than 10 seconds and never fewer than 5 seconds. when it recovers, it's like nothing bad ever happened.

My car was doing the same thing. The alternator was the culprit.

My mom had a '96 Berretta that started doing that a long time ago. Took it to the shop and it was the alternator, and a dying battery. Weird as hell and the first time I had experienced that...damn computerized cars!!
