Only becuz Reagan and the 1st Bush gave him a great economy and a surplus budget to piss away. If you recall the downhill started b4 Bill left office and Bush didnt fly planes into the towers he just retaliated for it unlike Bill did for the USS cole.

Maybe you should research a bit more? Reagan was responsible for the largest budget deficit in US History. That is before the current Bush took office. George Bush Sr also raised taxes.

Bill Clinton, while I don't disagree with the majority of his politics, was able to balance a budget and he did in fact work toward decreasing the national debt more than any other President in modern US History.

So far, the last three Republican Presidents have done the opposite.

And anyone that thinks Reagan was responsible for the DotCom boom is as dumb as the people that think Bill Clinton was responsible for it.

Maybe one day some of you people that just vote one way no matter what will open your eyes and then open a book or two and educate yourself.

By the way, around 98 you could buy gas for .90 in Huntsville Alabama. When I turned 16 in 2001 you could buy gas for just over 1.10.

Please tell me how the current administrations policy of spending more than they take in is any better than the 'democrats policy' of raising taxes?

The current policy of George Bush is responsible for raising inflation which is just about the same effect of just going ahead and raising taxes.

Again, one dimensional look at everything.
