oil in the wrong place

i have a 2000 mustang GT and the other day i looking under the hood and i found oil under the manifold, right between the valve covers. does anyone know where this might be coming from, cuz i have no idea... and where can i have a replace windshield...stupid rocks on the freeway!!!! :larry03gt

Look at where the leak is coming from...........Coluld be a valve cover gasket or head gasket..........

ooooh shiot....did you change motor oils from regular to synthetic? that can cause a break-down of the seals(gaskets). its good to use one or the other and stick to it.

same oil

the thing i'm the second owner... when i got i used the same oil but i don't know the owner used.

well, if it makes you feel any better my steeda has blow-by and needs a complete rebuild as well as either another t5 or new synchros

Here is what I can recommend doing. Clean the oil all up around the intake and start it and let it run to see if you see any seepage. If not go for a drive and come back and take a look at it to see if you see a leak. Also check your PVC valve to see if it is clogged up. If it is bad it will cause too much crank case pressure and oil leaks can start.
