Well do you think it'd be cool if I swung by there tuesday between 12-1 for you to check it out or do I need an appointment or something?

What time do you normally get out of work and where do you work near?
Thursday's after 4:30 is always good for me cuz one of the managers is gone and the boss always leaves @ 4 pm.

Well if you have a second ride, use that till Thursday. I work off Blanco and West so you can swing by after 4 pm (it is best time for me). But it sounds like the car is still driveable, just has a miss to it.

Well looks like you were right about the miss! Well it drove home fine, stopped and put gas on the way home, so now I guess I'll see how it drives in the morning (40 miles round trip to school). Thanks for helping out, and hopefully that's all it is!

I'm still gonna change the fuel filter and probably air filter too as soon as I get some time. I'll let you know when I get all the rest of the parts together for the headers hopefully including a K-member. Hopefully it won't act up in the morning...

What u talkin bout Willis? He didn't mention anything about a cracked plug... but he did say he couldn't tell what the substance was. I just think something, somehow was puddled in that plug hole around the boot and it finally made its way in there far enough to seriously effect it. Only thing I can think of is maybe some water or cleaning solution of some sort from when the engine was cleaned before I bought it (last time it was clean) got in there and has just been there. My theory is highly doubtful, but if it was anything more serious, I think it would be more obvious.

Anyways as an update, I've been driving it today and it's been fine so far. I can actually step on the gas and go somewhere now!

Never clean a 4.6 with water or any liquids...
Hand wipe or blow with air.

Glad it is working for you.

Shit, driving in the rain in big puddles is no help either.

I've never cleaned it, so only way I got water in there was puddles, but there really haven't been any until today, so I guess that's out of the question.
