a saturday cruise from SA to fredericksburg, where there is there are a few things for everyone, cool shops for the ladies and nimitz museum for the guys and then down to kerrville and on the way see who can do dead mans curve the fastest, without pushing it i have done at 95 (my goal is 110)then from kerrville out 10 west to hill country raceway in mountain home for the afternoon races. it is a 1/4 mile oval dirt track and they have some pretty competitive races. they start around 5 and will finish before dark since the track has no lights yet. there are plenty places to eat in kerrville and fredericksburg during the day. after the races anyone from SA should get home at decent hour.

PS: I would not promote dangerous driving for anyone, deadmans curve is a personal preference.

for just a cruise, lss is cool with it. if it's to break laws on public streets(speeding, street racing, etc), then that's a no-no.

i'd be up for a cruise.

i can check with a few eating establishments and the race track owner for group discounts. races run through october so we would have plenty of time to plan and get as many stangs together for a good showing.

again, i am not incouraging anybody to break the law.

That you can do, there is a retro joint called Peggy Sue's (50's Style Dining) and the owner is a stang driver. Maybe he would give us a discount for bringing some attention to his joint or we can stop by for a shake after stuffing our face with other delectable foods.

I will try to get a heads up on a good future race day, sometimes there are extras such as demolition derby, Texas Sport Coupes, IMCA Modifieds and Bumble Bees. The track had a website with a schedule but evidently they did not pay there dues for there domain name I guess cause it's gone hillcountryraceway.com

How did I know the shopping part of the cruise would get the ladies attention? Mmmmmm, live and learn fella's. EZ, there are some really cool shops along the main drag in Fredericksburg I guarontee.( That's Cajun French for Guaranty) make sure you drag out the on.
