Our next LSS Houston G2G.

Well Ive been thinking lately that we need to plan a monthly or if possible a bi-monthly chapter G2G. It doesnt have to be at the same location every week since we all live in different parts of the city and I think it would be nice to have something that is not too far from everyone every week as well as something in a different side of town each time. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for a location or just an opinion. Feel free to give this thread your two cents. We've had a few new Houston Area members join the forum recently and I think it would be a good idea to get together and meet one another like we have in the not so distant past. So just let yourselves be heard. I know we had talked about a G2G at Mike's and Margarets but wouldnt want to stress anything or anyone. I know next weekend is Memorial Day so I think that takes that weekend out but I could be mistaken. If not this upcoming weekend theres always the one after eg. June 5. Im thinking we can have a lil G2G at Stangchick's house. But hey thats just an idea. Lets get Houston's Chapter of LSS up and running or at least walking.

Agreed....We're more then happy to host at some point as well....Let's hear who would be interested in attending and then try to get some dates set in stone for some gtg's in H-town real soon!!! :mick:

I'm very interested in getting LSS going in H-Town. Like Rene mentioned- I would be down for hosting a small gtg at my house. It's not big but big enough for us to hang out. We have a grill so we can bbq some burgers, hot dogs or something.... If there are enough people interesting in getting together the weekend of June 3rd-5th we'll make a thread and get something together. If not then we'll wait and see what we can get together but lets hope that we get something going pretty soon. :mick:

awsome, i'd def be interested. i'd prefer places in north houston, but i can fumble around the other areas and try to find yeah.

Well, I'm one of the North Houston people. Right around the beltway and 59- not sure if you're familiar with that area.... Lets see if we can get more LSSers interested so we can put something together. :jeff:

although i live in college station, i'm from pasadena and visit there at least once a month and i know some people are even further south. I would be interested in meeting up. i'm not sure on a spot due to the varied members. i would say somewhere central a few times until the group gets big enough. 59 south has a ton of places to meet up at, Princes has good food, gulfgate area has huge spots, anywhere off of 610 makes for an easy drive. i'm just throwing out ideas.

Its good to see we have some input on this topic and I cant wait to see more people get interested in this like a few of us already are. So does anyone have any ideas on what we should we plan for the weekend of June 3-5th? Like Karla said wed be ok with hosting a small G2G / BBQ for LSS. Now it wouldnt be a BIG event but youd be welcome to join us and just be in good company. Its a pretty quiet neighborhood and I think this would be a good thing to do . I know we have more Houston members out there. So I think we can wait a few days to see what other members in the area say before we start planning anything.

what are you having them do, i went to thier last dyno day it is was bad ass and depressing at the same time. I drove all the way to get the perfect tune, i am now saving for some of thier cams.

wel i'm going over there for the same reason, let Tim work his magic on my car for that perfect tune. i'm also hoping to get some more stuff maybe some mph stage 3 heads. Trying to see if tim can get me alteast 550+ out of my car. since every other car that he tunes gets 600+...

what about something around the woodlands? not sure who else is from the area. plenty of big parking lots in strip centers along 45.

That will be considered for future gettogethers but when this idea was brought up we considered the location all of our members in the area. From the ones that are in CS, Katy, and Friendswood to the ones we have in Nederland Pasadena and Pearland. So that no one member has to drive acroos town everytime we get together for something. So only time will see about us doing that and maybe we can plan into doing something around that area. Maybe going to eat and hang out at Cafe Adobe or something like that.

I use to live in College Station as well and am now home for the summer (Deer Park). I would like to meet up with ya'll when there's a gtg. Does anyone know of a park or something around the 610 loop? In another club of mine, we use to meet up at parks and use the pits out there and bar-b-que / grill stuff, maybe play some ball or something.
