Overhaul...Where?

Need some recomendations (sp) on shops or persons in S.A. to look over my 84GT. The motor does not burn oil or smokes so I'm not sure if I need a complete overhaul, it's has some problem leaks that are beyond my skills, rear main seal,front crank, tranny,etc. with a little knock. Looking for someone that won't try and jack me up with something I don't need. i want to get it done before new paint and exhaust goes on.

You looking for the whole car or just the engine to get done? If you just want the engine rebuilt i would say Kotzur racing is your best bet. As to other stuff, Murillo Motorsports are some of the best guys around for Mustangs. Give them a call at 946-1199.

Hey rich,
Don't know about engine shops in SA mostly 'cause I do my own work, but I just had to say that I really dig those seats in that 84!

Personally I swore the next time I needed to rebuild an engine I was going to check into a crate engine instead. That may be something worth considering for you.

Gotta love those foureyes!!
