the driver side on my 01GT does the same thing. i kinda suspect a bad ground somewhere, but im too lazy to track it.

i just took the motor out of the regulator assembly and pushed the window up manually. BE CAREFUL OF THE SPRINGS!! that shit can bite yer fingers clean off! watch when taking the motor off, and use a screwdriver or something to push the window up til you get a hold on it from the top.

it did the same thing later; i found out i had a bind in the window track. loosen (but dont remove) the nuts holding the tracks to the door and move the window manually and move the tracks until the window moves freely thru the whole range of its travel, and retighten the nuts.

Window motor is fairly common on going bad as well as the window switch. You can determine what is needed by using a 12 volt test light at the window motor.

Very common on Fords.

Sometimes you can tap on the window regulator motor and it will work for a short time.....Possibly enough to get it back up.
