i recently purchased a jlt cai and bbk 78mm throttle intake w/ a 1/2in spacer. later this summer i plan on changing the intake manifold, heads and cams. i know the ti is large for a stock 4.6 but i will need it later with the future mods. the question i have is if the ti will hurt the performance of the car with its size on the stock motor?
It should not hurt anything, you should still feel a bit of a gain and throttle response. yes, it is less effective than the the 70mm TB on a NA motor, but will still give you a gain and keep you ahead of the game for your future plans of FI.
