what purpose does the phone button serve on the shaker 500 system?

im assuming when you press it the volume goes down. If thats the case then when your phone rings and you answer it you press the phone button and the volume goes down so you can hear the person on the phone. I just dont see why you cant just turn the stero off...

all it says when i push it is "no phone"...i thought it was supposed to mute the radio as well but if that was the case its easier to turn it off

i think you have to have the bluetooth option on the car and have it set up for it to work.b

yeah they have the bluetooth option. Mine came with it. I took it out though, i have an aftermarket radio now

no, i talked to the dealer and there is a part you gotta buy in order to make the bluetooth work...
