Yea it can be done but you might as well port the intake as well as that would make a nice difference.

I never understood the principal of porting a TB, it just doesnt make any sense to me. You have a length of pipe essentially with 2 open ends and a valve in the middle. It doesnt matter how much you open up the 2 sides of the TB, your still only going to allow in the amount of air that can be sucked through the valve sized diameter.

But smoothing it out reduces the turbulance which helps improve the power output. The less tumbleing the air has to do the better the velocity there fore increasing the power. Hpwever for the most increase you need to port the entire air inlet tract.

Fathom the odd hypocrisy that Obama wants every citizen to prove they are insured, but people don't have to prove they are citizens.

If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you weren’t a racist, you’d better vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you’re not an idiot.

I highly doubt you will gain anything from smoothing the stock TB out. The TB blade at WOT almost certainly has more surface area than any imperfections sticking up off a cast TB.

"porting" the TB just seems like something you do when your bored and want to make yourself feel like your doing something useful lol.

    it is not worth it.

nothing on a 6, besides longtube headers and exhaust, will ever be worth the money or time. unless you wanna shoot some drugs, then thats a different story.
