Post your best 1/4 mile timeslips here!

For your time to be added to the Official Timeslip Ranking List, you will need to post the following:

    1) Scanned copy or clear picture of Timeslip (Video of run may be requested)
    2) The following vehicle information:
    - Year/Model
    - Weight
    - Engine
    - Type of transmission (by model number)
    - Size and Manufacturer of power adder, or N/A
    - Pounds of Boost, or N2O shot (both if applicable)
    - RWHP (optional but requested)
    - Rear Gear ratio
    - Make and type of tire

    So let's see some timeslips

Thanks Tracy, I'll add it right now.

And I forgot about Weight. I'll add that to the spreadsheet.

So can we post multiple times slips for the same car, with different combos? Such as my car used to have a 306 with a T5, then later a 364 with a C4, can I post the best time slip from each combo or just the best overall? Basicaly they were two very different combos, but they were in the same car. I am going to eventualy put boost to the engine, so it should step up quite a bit from what it last ran.
The current combo is an '85 coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364, Ported Twisted Wedge heads and a BXR intake, A9M ECM with a Moates chip, Doug Nash 5 spd, 4.56 gears, Hoosier 275/60/15 drag radials.
Daily driver '89 GT 302 stock block, crank, rods and pistons, ported GT-40P heads with stock valves, Ported Explorer intake, B302 cam, Z spec T5, 3.73 gears, Moates chip and no traction. Made 325 whp and 325 wtq.

seriously do people keep there time slips like that ?

I got probly 50 8 oh passes and 10 seven second passes on my race car and would be hard pressed to find a timeslip older then the last time i went to the track heh.

my 05 has been low tens at least 10 times on video at rivercity but i dont even have a single time slip from it.

I think there is video of it going 10.50 at 136.5 with a bad launch during one of my races with mat from lethal... and i got vid of a 8.07 at 172 of the race car but the cars went 203.89 and well into the sevens since then.

ill dig up what i can find in the tool box out back.

Alright..... I mulled this over a bit and I think we can do multiple timeslips for the same car, but only for very different combos. Changin' gears from 3.27s to 3.73s won't suffice. But what you are talking about will be alright.

    BANDIT...

I think some of these questions by some of the members are looking into this too far...its just a simple timeslip database...if someone runs 7's and someone only runs 15's...then who cares its what the members have run...i seriously dont think it should get broken down by shop owned or whatever...

and i dont think having ur car on here more than once is a good idea either...i say post your current combo timeslip...not the 100 other combos youve tried...i say one car one timeslip

not only that...if thats the case you will be getting questions from members wanting their ex cars timelips on here too...

this is in no way bashing anyone on here...just stating my opinion cause i think some people are just looking into this too much...

i ran a similar database on another forum and all i can say is you cant cater to everyone!!

Great job on getting the timeslip database up and running!

    roost,

I hear ya. I don't feel its necessary to have separate lists for shop owned and private owned cars. if we do that... why not just break it down into different net income brackets. lmao that's rediculous.

I got the idea for this from s197 forums (agent jones pointed me to it) and they seem to have made it work pretty well. I just changed a few things like adding year/model and rwhp to the list.

there will only be one list... but once we get a good amount of slips on it I will point out in the thread of the list who has the fastest shop owned car, fastest V6, fastest N/A, etc...

just wait guys... I've got it under control. it will all make sense once you see what i'm talking about.

Well my point was my car has gone through two stages so far, I am proud of what it did almost more than what it has done with the last combo, even though it went faster with the last combo. Once it is back together and sorted out it should be a good bit faster than was with the last combo. You could limit people to one time slip now, but then when they go faster later. What do you do then, add the new one and leave the old one or delete the old numbers. On the Corral they just keep adding to the list. If you go back and delete the old numbers your just creating more work for someone.
The current combo is an '85 coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364, Ported Twisted Wedge heads and a BXR intake, A9M ECM with a Moates chip, Doug Nash 5 spd, 4.56 gears, Hoosier 275/60/15 drag radials.

i'm thinking if you run faster, BANDIT will update your current data with the new one...if not people would be on there alot more than one time...

i'm pretty sure bandit has this all worked out

I went 10.501 @ 129 N/A so far in my car. This was in August 2008 at Sunday Night Street Brawl-SAR. I haven't been to the track very much this year so that ET still stands.

    410W w/C4, 3.73 gear, 28" ET Drag in a 2950lb car.

Should go 9's on a 150 shot when I get around to installing the kit and taking the car back out to SAR.

Uh I'll see if I have something close to it if not the actual slip. I usually hold on to a few here and there to compare passes.

Honestly slips do not prove a whole hell of a lot. I could post up a slip I found on the ground at the track saying I went 8's.

I think there is a video of the pass that GT Ryan took, let me look for it.

good point. but that's why I included in the requirements that a video of the run may be requested along with the timeslip in certain cases. most of the time its pretty obvious what a car should run... if a member on here with a 97 GT with just a CAI and exhaust posts a mid 11 timeslip I'm going to ask for a video to back it up.

It's all good. I'd much rather the list grow slowly and be credible than it grow fast and be full of bogus info.

Well i guess im kind of a timeslip packrat, ive got time slips from way back in early 03 from the first time i started drag racing the Cobra and even some from years before that from my 65 GT stang. I have a shoe box full of time slips i open it up every now and then and its kinda like a trip down memory lane, i can always remember pretty close to the setup i had by the 1/4 time and mph and by the date on the slip.

I haven't posted mine, but I do the same. I have pretty much all my timeslips from every pass I have made from my old car's to the new one's and the bikes as well.

03 DSG MACH - TT - Not fast enough
03 OW MACH - Slower than above
11 RR GT/CS - Slower than both of the above

    Thanks to Longoria Race Cars
