Rick has always been very helpful to me when I called. why would you give out specs on a "custom" cam... even though they are not enirely custom. If its not a one off, that means information is readily available. How did I pick my cam and know it would make 295+ on a set of Ps? I researched and looked at what worked with the port flow differential and my heads flow numbers. the AFM cams specs are posted around the web if you search. My xe270 is very close to some of the older B-25 and B series cams that I know work Damn well with gt40s and gt40Ps.

Ed curtis I would say is a major Penis. for a number of reasons, One being downright refusing to grind you a cam based on your planned combo, or talking shit about your request for a cam to other customers via email. Or the fact that he said you couldnt go 12s in a e7 equipped 95 let alone one with untouched heads. He said I needed to get a clue. Do his cams also make great power? Hell yes if you ask for the right cam. Ed builds a cam to what you tell him you want to do with the car. If you are a little girl and talk about driveability the whole conversation, you might end up making 300 at the wheels. Get a little more agressive in your goals and you might end up with 325 rwhp or more.

Would I suggest getting a cam from either? Hell yes.

would I suggest ever buying a ford racing cam or a trick flow cam, Not really.

If you are going to go off OTS, get a Proven comp, lunati or afm that matches your heads and most importantly your intake!
