I don't support either. I won't vote for a Republican or Democrat in 2008. Only way I would have voted for a Republican is if Ron Paul got the ticket. I'm not anymore scared of Democrats than I am Republicans. My whole point was to not worry about someone else getting into office when voting. America needs to stop thinking you only have those choices you listed and stop worrying about that when they go out and vote for the 'lesser' of two evils.

Before you rail on me...I totally agree with you - its broke...broken really bad...Bush signed the budget - but it went to Congress and the Senate too...we are seriously needing a massive reform.

I think it really should start with the Lobbyist and Special Interest CRIMINAL activating ceasing immediately. And a clearing of the Senate and Congressional leaders...

I agree fully. I wish there was more support in this country for Congressional term limits. That'd fix a lot of problems we have with career politicians and open up more opportunities for a 3rd party to pick up more seats.

What the the California Governor do when the budget was too low?? Sent people home without pay - laid them of etc - not popular but that is how you run a business - so why not run a city, state or THE MOST POWER ECONOMIC FORCE in existence - THE U.S.A!?

I know some of you wont understand but the government HAD to bail out Fannie Mae & Freddie Mack. They forced them to make bad loans, for "good reasons", just like there is predatory lending there is predatory borrowing. Its complicated, but the other bail outs are crap, those companies should fail, see the problem was that they also made bad loans, which they were supposed to sell. The plan was to screw the public in a word, while helping them... Like I said, its complicated.

I've said it before and I still believe this ..........

If you as Americans really want change , it needs to start with YOU . Don't sit around and bitch about things but do nothing to change it yourself . We as Americans are in the bed we made and this has been a long time coming .

No one has forced you to :

own 5-10 credit cards
buy a house you cannot afford
buy and drive a vehicle you cannot afford
go on vacations you cannot afford
buy gifts and spend money during the holidays you cannot afford
have children you cannot afford to raise


Until Americans in general decides to take responsibility for their actions and stop living on credit , things will only get worse not better .

I am pulling for McCain this election for a couple of simple reasons . (1) He served his country in war time and knows what it means to give the ultimate sacrifice for your country and (2) Obama is running on nothing but generic policies of "CHANGE" .
