Ok so here's what Im going to attempt. I want to do a post where I make one modification at a time then go to the track and see what I picked up. If it works I think it'll be a pretty neat project. I went to the track this weekend and I will post the bone stock times. I have pics of when I got it and after each modification Ill add another pic. Let me know what you guys think and hopefully when I finish this will be very helpful to people about to modify their Cobras. I will be doing all this on BFG T/A's. Im sure I'll be putting radials on soon but I think I want to see what the modifications do on street tires. Here is the list of things I will be doing and in the order Im going to have it done. I am open to rearranging it if you have good advice as to why I should swap it. Thanks and we'll see how it goes!

I ran very consistent most the night with the wost time of 9.68. Hopefully I'll have someone there next time doing videos. Hope ya'll will enjoy this thread.

If you ever plan on throwing slicks or ET streets on it, I'd do 31 spline axles & carrier at the same time as the 4.10's it will save you labor cost

Got some "lightly used" 4.10's off of a reputable guy on svtp for 90 bucks shipped and installed them for free at my girlfriends dad's shop. Went to the track this weekend and was fairly pleased at what I saw. I NEED TIRES. I think my street tires are killing me. I don't get much spin on launch but with the 4.10's lose traction in 2nd and 3rd bad. 25-28psi

Vid of my fastest run. Really dark and too long but you can see the time. I got whooped by a Juiced/cammed/slicks/Exhaust Edge Gt. lol Best races of the night were with a Heavly modded Cobalt SS. I won 3 outta 4 but they were all really close. Really nice guy with a well done Cobalt and he didn't have the "ricer" attitude. However it made me want more. I want to blow those things away.

I was very consistant. Other times were right around here with my slowest at 9.2078. So I saw a decrease of around .2 to .3 off of the 1/8 with a 4-6MPH increase of HP.

The next mod I will be doing is tires. I figure why waste the money on mod's if I can't even stick it to the pavement.

Help me make up my mind guys.
