I need more power

background: I live off post now and in the small town I live in (Copperas Cove) there's a pair of black LS2 GTO's. Atleast 1 of them is cammed.

so here's what's planned: I have a dyno date for January 5th, so before that, my new PI intake and Accufab plenum and TB will be swapped on. I'm taking advantage of Lethalperformance.com's winter sale and getting a O/R shorty X since I need more bark and I'll probably pick up a decent CAI while I'm at it.

I doubt this will bring me to the cammed GTO level, but I should give teh stockish one a fighting chance. Especially since I can't do nitrous, yet........

The BBK design for the rear 02's is ugly, nasty, sick, (what fuckin engineer made that design), suck donkey balls. Since your car is lowered, it will be a matter of time before you peg one of the rear 02's and create all kinds of hell. If I were you, I'd swing that pipe by my shop, I'll fill the existing 02 holes and cut and weld in new bungs to re-locate them higher.

I already wacked one of them, it's not very pretty. Available saturday morning? She's pretty much running open header right now too

slight update:

the o/r X-pipe is in, but the damn thing is still quiet. The Magnaflows have to go. I'm leaning towards Spintechs and Borla Stingers. Hopefully that will provide a louder bark.

stereo stuff goes in tomorrow, hopefully. I need that iPod stuff in because I refuse to listen to my few CDs and radio when I travel across 4 states.

the Mach 1 grille delete is in, sorta lol. I don't have a drill here in Texas to drill the nessecary clearence hole for the new pony, so I'm rolling around like Graves' Bullitt

if ur lookin for a loud ass muffler to go with the x-pipe, i highly recommend spintechs.. i got em on mines and they sound hella good

those were one of the mufflers I was looking to go with. I got a good deal on the Borla Stinger mufflers, so I jumped on it and they should be here soon

The Stingers are here, but won't be going on for awhile. I'm taking care of the bodywork 1st. I may kick in a few extra bucks and repaint the whole GT while it's there. The Accufab plenum is on, finally. My TPS is stuck on the stock TB, so it went back on til I can get my hands on a new TPS for the Accufab TB. I'll be switching to 18" DD Black FR500's here soon and some Cobra brakes. After that, dyno time for a retune
