Project: Evil Build of my 2000 GT
ok, quick intro: I bought a stockish 2000 GT back in April 2006. She was a black, 5-speed, charcoal cloth coupe with 66k on the clock. August 2006 I was deployed with my Army unit in support of Iraqi Freedom. While I'm stuck here in this desert wasteland, I decided to "treat" my car to a few upgrades
PSI Performance in San Antonio is doing the majority of the work Feb 2007: BBK Long tubes and catted X-pipe made they're way onto the GT. I unfortunately don't have pics from this happened. July 2007: the major laundry list goes onto to the car: - 4.10 gears - FRPP 31 spline diff - Moser 31 spline axles - FRPP rear gridle - H&R Super Sport springs - Koni yellow adjustable shocks - Maximum Motorsports C/C plates - Steeda U/D pullies - VT Stage 1 N/A cams - CompCams Beehive valvesprings - Magnaflow catback - Diablosport Predator Here's some pics from when she was 1st dropped off at PSI: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() more to follow soon (whenever the internet stops being slow as tree-sap here)

I must have confused you Matt....the bolt on VT cam is on the passenger side and the stock cam is on the driver side...my bad.

nice list of stuff ya got goin there. i was gonna say that ya should have detailed it, but saw that was #1 on the list when you get home. whats the future plans? (and what 1/4 mile you wanna get to?)

ok, body mods are coming next deployment. I like nice clean flowing lines. Here's what is definitely planned:
- no spoiler at all (not moving from this) - cowl or a '95 Cobra R style hood - '99 Cobra front bumper - smoked headlights - clear foglights - '03 Cobra mirrors - '03 Cobra rockers - Bullitt side scoops now, how do ya'll think of this look? '03 Cobra rear bumper shaved ![]() yay or nay? ![]()

I like the clean look, but a bumper with the chrome inserts looks great too. I saw a Cobra at Biffs a few weeks back, he had chrome, carbon fiber raised inserts. I can't explain it exactly, but it did look killer.

ok, so now I have a new goal which is very attainable at this point. This is all thanks to Dean who pointed it out in dyno number e-mail he sent me. She's gonna get over 300rwhp N/A. I think I'm a plenum, T/B, and cold air intake away looking at that number.
Now to open up a can of worms, is there really any noticeable difference in any of the 4.6 plenum's available? (Other than price)

Yeah, I have a feeling I'll be happy with the H&R's in terms of looks and performance Nitrous is in the works, probably not for awhile. I'm preparing to get out of the Army here in a year and head back to school full time. I may hold off til I can afford a replacement engine or wait til I move back to California (where I'm going to school). Any body shop should be able to fill and smooth the COBRA letters on the back.
