well its on but now i have another problem. initial crank started right up. i turned it off because i was being yelled at to get ready for breakfast bc the family is going out. well i went back to turn it on to let my younger brother hear it and total disappointment. it cranks but then dies. im hoping its just the battery since it was not connected for 4 days (time of install). yeah i know long time but i am an noob. any comments or suggestions or ideas on what it is thats is causing it to not start up?

Exclamation

another issue.

the passenger side hangs too low and scrapes and it actually popped off the first tube after the 90* rubber elbow after the 1st WOT attempt. luckily my mom and dad were behind me and stopped me to let me know i had sparks going on under the car. when i looked there its was in all its painfuly glory mocking me by hanging loose from the rubber elbow
it wa sthe pipe from the intercooler on the passenger side that popped off. i was hoping it was just the exhaust when they said it was sparking because i knew something had come loose.

here is something though that i would like you guys with the procharger to tell me. i could be wrong but i do not think its suppose dto hang this low

well i personally wouldn't know, since i haven't gotten my stang back from THR yet... i'll let you know for sure in a couple of weeks.

but in my opinion, that does look to hang lower than usual.

well my pops and i will be working on it tomorrow so we will let you know. a guy from the collective says that it is really too low and would possibly need some extra assistance to pull it up. in my opinion i will have to do some rubber cutting to pull it up.

Sounds like a nice build(even for a v6!)

Did it ever get started? If not I have a suggestion that worked for me a couple of times. Just inside the driver side kick panel there is an opening and feel around for a rubber-like button. Press it for a couple seconds. It is the fuel reset button. It will reset the fuel system and hopefully start up. Hope that works for you....

(At least that is how it is on the GT...not sure for the 6er)

yea i got it started. i was dumb and didnt realize i had the double 45* pipe reversed and the flow arrow was facing the wrong direction on the maf sensor. so i flipped it and it started right up no problem.

@cmschlatt - im planning on taking over to THR once i get the tube up from a good point away from scraping. hopefully throw it on a dyno to see what its doing.

well i think i know why the car bumped sideways so awkardly. it turns out that there was a hose clamp i forgot to tighten. at the same time i pulled off the bumper and my pops and i got the clearance issue resolved. its higher than the kmember so i will hit that before i hit the pipes or at least so i hope. all that is left is to put the bumper back on

yea ill probably put that off imma still order my gauges and the dash pod from aem. the afr from innovative is cheaper on ebay than you can find anywhere so ill probably do that. and have someone do the install because im done with taking apart the car on my own for a lil while its heart breaking to look in the garage and see her like that

AFR?
standard AFRs are not accurate, are you buying a wide band meter with an a/f guage?

you cant put off a dyno check/tune, that should be the first thing you do when you add FI to an n/a car. take it and get it tuned. You need that before anything else goes on.

are you speakin in terms of power or solid a.f ratio? I could see his tunes being good on the power side but watch that wideband just in case.
