haha what a coincidence. i was just there yesterday and brian told me exactly what you just said. hopefully ill be getting the detroit trutrac within a month and get that along with a torque converter put on there at THR. with the new track in town i have seen THR get really packed with people waiting for him at leats 20-30 mins just to see him.

as for the LT headers man your gonna love it. let us know the numbers of the exhaust system before the supercharger

According to Brian, it looks like they have the StainlessWorks exhaust system for both 5 speeds and autos mapped out... finally.

Now it’s time for the dyno and the procharger install.

    here's the video:

Keep in mind, videos rarely do exhaust sounds justice. They almost always sound more raspy on video than in person.

oh yeah, the Procharger should make the exhaust sound even better.

so far the only thing that has been installed is the exhaust.

Brian sent me some new pictures and videos tonight.

Brian wanted me to note that the smoke from the exhaust is due to it being brand new exhaust (oiled for shipment). The exhaust went straight from the box to the car, then to the dyno. No driving around to break it in and it takes a while to get the exhaust Hot enough to burn off the oil and chemicals from the original start up. It’s all clear now.

    Enjoy.

Also important to note.... these videos are obviously before the Procharger install. All that is installed thus far in the videos was the exhaust (StainlessWorks longtubes, catted x-pipe, axle back).

yeah, it still sounds a little raspy on the video... and might even be a bit raspy in person... but I don't know that I've ever heard a Mustang, V6 or V8, with long-tubes x-pipe and straight through mufflers that didn't sound at least a little raspy at some point in the rpm range.

c'mon Ryan... you've read this thread enough to know that the hold up was the exhaust from StainlessWorks.

yeah, any x-pipe is going to have some raspiness at high rpm's but I mean, it still sounds badass Jeff. Your doing a nice setup on your v6, not a shitty one that is the norm(no offense to anyone on the boards)

Dude... have you read any of the thread?

    As posted March 6th:

    3. I have my heart set on a great exhaust set up. I want stainless steel longtube headers and stainless steel exhaust to go with it. Problem with that is... nobody had made stainless steel longtube headers for the 4.0 yet. StainlessWorks is making them now, and they are using my car... at THR... to make them. Evidently they have had some fit and finish issues with the Longtubes matting up with the x-pipe. So that is what we are waiting on right now.
