Project: Street Beast

I bought my Mach 1 brand new in May of 03 and have done different things to it over that time. Some of which I liked and some of which I didn't really care for. Right now im starting the newest side project on it which should be completed early next year maybe sooner pending on time and money.

Now the big project begins when that side project starts and will not end until late next year or early of 09. Plenty of pictures to follow and maybe another thread just on the "swap" alone.

I'm shooting for 600-700 hp when I get done and a ride that looks clean as hell. It will be whippled or kb equipped with most the bolt on's sitting on some 18" forged wheels. Im hoping for some nice #'s at the track as well. The car will be built for my pleasure at the track and for looks on the street.

Total estimate for the project: $15,000.00.

Right now mods include:

Headers
o/r X pipe
C/B
elect. water pump
ldc cooling mod
CAI
al. flywheel
tko600
al. driveshaft
4.10 gears
31 spline axles

My car has been running for the past two months now that I got the eaton on which was part 1 of my project. Did some side work on it besides just putting the eaton on. Im happy with the results.....for now. It was tuned the first weekend of Feb., but I just finished up some little things with it recently.

Huge thanks to RaceRat for the help and getting Jon Lund to come to town and tune some cars.

With a very conservative tune it put down 442 HP and 432 TQ. The torque is what really excited me as most mach's that have done the swap are in the low 400's with similar mods.

Got some new wheels in a trade that really help with the car looks. Just waiting for a few extra bill's to get some parts painted and still waiting for my new hood to come in to get some good pics taken of it.

At the track I got an 11.42 @ 121.xx on my first night out. Weight was 3525 with me in it, so im hoping to lose about 2-3 hundred pounds and some other little tweaking to get it down to a 10.9999999.

New mods:

Eaton S/C swap
C&L inlet
SCT tune by Jon Lund

Current pics of what the car looks like, even though it's somewhat dirty. The appearance of it will change soon though.

Enjoy.

Just realized I picture whored the crap out of it.

Nice to see my stock eaton and LFP reservoir found a nice home. You got the eaton swap from Ptrfree and the reservoir from Racerat right? If so they both came off my Cobra and its nice to see they went to someone who will do it up right! Good luck on the future mod plans! I saw you at Racerats Jon Lund tune day but i didnt get a chance to talk to you.
