How much for the driveshafts without install? I know for that price its a hell of a deal but I dont want to drive to San Antonio.

Basicly we install the drive shaft for free with purchase.. the shafts are also over sized when shipping due to the length so they go oversized 2 when ups shipped so the shipping is usualy about 25 to 30 dollars

i can do one for 499 shipped ..

drive shafts are always in stock with the aluminum version and the steel takes us 1 day to have built if its not in stock at that time.

Can the diablo do something about the long delay in down shifting of an auto in an 05 GT?

the tuner will shorten it .. however to realy make it almost instant you need to do a custom tune.

Does the custom tune use the diablo?
How much would a tune cost?

I really hate having an auto because of the downshift. If I floor it, I want something to happen instantly and I want to feel the shift.

yes they do and the tune would run 300

the downshift can be very much made to be quicker however the delay is there for protection of the relativly week stock trany

Hello Dean my name is Carl and i am in Austin and would like to know the price of a 4.10 gear install and how do your tunes for the Diablo compare with the ones from Bama and Brenspeed, i will be looking in the next couple of weeks i was going to order from one of them but i now would like to get work done with a sponser or local guys instead, for the gears i would like to use the tuner from the cai if it will have that ability thanks.

installed using motorsport ford gears with synthetic fluid your looking at 420 out the door.

As for tunes ask anyone on the board how happy they are with our custom tunes.

Hey im thinking about getting the JLT CAI and Tuner combo or maybe just the diablo tuner. Right now i have the KN intake with no tune. Should i get both the tuner and JLT or just the tuner and use it with my KN intake. Also is it true that you MUST have a tune on the car for the car to work with the JLT on it? If so how would i go to the dealership with the stock tune if the JLT is still on. WOuld i have to put back on the stock intake AND then put the stock tune back on if i needed to go to the dealership for warranty repairs??

we sell the tuner with a preloaded can tuned for the JLT if you purchase the package..

you will pick up much more power if you use the jlt and the caned tune..

the reason is in order to keep the kn from needing a tune they have to keep the inlet pipe where the mass air is the same size as factory while the jlt can be much larger since you tune for it.

You CAN drive the car with a stock tune in the ecu with a jlt however the car will be lean and you would not want to be getting on it at all it would strictly be drive it around no heavy throttle.

however it may if driven long enough trip a lean 02 code.

ok thanks for the info. Im gonna look and see how much i can get for my KN intake. and if i can get it sold I will get the combo. What type of dyno do you guys use?

sorry for being a pain but one last question on the JLT and predetor from you guys, so it comes with 3 tunes and has a place for a custom tune, does the custom tune come already installed in the predetor or would that be extr, thanks.
