Looks like many people have done this with no problems afterwards in the cobra and lightning area's. Worth a shot. If I am replacing a head it will be for the better. FR's with all other supporting mods. That's why I'm trying to avoid that route.

is a "timesert kit" like the helicoil method of fixing the head>?

that's what it's all about man. you don't need to be pushing a ton of HP to put it on the dyno. hell, half of us don't put down more than 250rwhp. but it's still fun.

Hey, Ive got 2 boxes of frozen hamburger patties in my freezer (20 ea)... my mother in law got a good deal on them at HEB and went ape-shit, she bought us like 8 boxes of them couple of months ago... They're good, but you can only eat so many hamburgers - know what I mean...The wife and kids are so burnt-out on hamburgers they wont touch them anymore... I can donate them, and prolly some Shiner Bock to the BBQ, if somebody has a grill.

hey that would be great! if you can bring those patties... just try to let them thaw the night before because at one of our last BBQs... Chips cut the shit out of his thumb trying to cut the frozen patties apart.

Got me confused there for a sec too! My son has a soccer game at the Y too, but thankfully the DYNO day chosen is a Sunday.
