put the vortech on this past weekend...

with the high compression i couldnt run very much timing. 13.75* total! but i made 417/365. with 18* it made 450 but i did not want to chance it with that much timing on my 10.5:1 CR engine! when i get the HP shortblock i will up the boost to 12psi.

the above numbers was at less than 6psi. i have the 3.6" pulley on the s-trim.

thanks...the hp was still climbing very steeply when we shut it down at 6k. max torque was at about 4700. i wonder what it will run now?

nope..i havent been to murillos. my car was tuned at speedworks in lewisville, tx. i wouldnt let anybody in SA tune my car.

are you kidding? Murillo can and will make more power than any other shop in texas. he's ONE of the best around here and i have seen him work, he's awesome. if you want to make more power, you need to see him.

i am sure that he is good, but that is a relative term. good to some but not so good to others. either way, dom learned from jerry and i knew he could tune my car with my with increased compression from my headswap. getting the most hp was not the goal. we tuned it to 450rwhp at 6psi but i wanted it safer so we detuned it to 417 (less timing). when i get the built shortblock and more boost i may go see him since he is local. what software does he use? thanks...
if you see a white 98gt on chrome Rs with a cobra hood and front bumper flag me down. need to get out and meet some of you...been too busy as of late.!

I just got my car tuned (no dyno) by Jerry yesterday in Beaumont, he is one of the smartest and nicest guys I have ever met.
