Question About Lowering springs?

So I Have been working on installing my new springs and I have encountered a problem. I am having trouble getting the tie rod to pop off the spindle. Does anyone have any helpful hints as to how to get the tie rod to pop out?

I'd say pickle fork and a BFH is your best bet if you don't have air tools.

Using the 'fork' or even one with an air hammer, has a tendency to tear the tie rod boot, I always use a BFH on the spindle housing just above the tie rod end with pressure on the tie rod until it pops loose. It is best to leave the nut that holds the tie rod on with a few threads so once it does come loose, it does not become a trajectory.
