Well I dont know if its good or not.
My '04 sixer is an auto and I ran high 15's with the traction control and autodrive on with no mods just a K&N drop in.

remember you have 50-60 HP on him

With the auto it doesn't matter weather or not you turn off the O/D since it never reaches it by the end of the track.

man im trying to talk my parents into this whole track thing, they just have a negative view on it, im thinking about having them come out on wensday. (im going regardless if they tell me not to...yah im going to taylors house) you think that having them watch a few races would change there mind? does it get crazy out there, my dads a wee bit protective and would croke if he knew what i do...

no, the only thing that could even get dangerous is a car that is MUCH faster than yours. they dont run hwen the track is wet, and they have all the safety and rescue equpiment on hand JUST IN CASE something goes wrong... and like i said, itll take a faster car than you have.. the key is to tell em youre gonna just keep the fast driving at the track-- and follow up on it.
but yeah, a parental ridealong is a great idea!


if youre interested, there is an autocross next sunday at verizon amphitheater so you can learn the handling characteristics of your car as well as straightline acceleration.

take your parents along for this as well. same thing- nothing unsafe is allowed, most that will happen is a spin and scrub some rubber off. helmets are required, but loaner helmets are available. PM me if you have q's or want more details or whatever.

I don't think it will change there minds at all. I'm 30 and I took my mom a couple of months ago...one wreck and she was out. She left :jmg680:
