Well, first and foremost, you need to find out if it is a 95 or a 96 because those are two totally different motors. Both can be swapped in but one will require far more work than the other.

If it is a 95, then it is a very straight forward swap. New motor mounts and trans crossmember and you're pretty much set.

If its a 96, then you will need a Mustang II style front end that eliminates the shock towers.

First see what it is so you know what you're getting into.

If its a 5.0 pretty simple deal. Need correct oil pan for early car and motor mounts that will get the motor in the car. Ditch the efi intake and dizzy and go with a carb set up will save alot of work/wiring. You can go EFI if you are willing to spend teh effort/money needed.

If it is a 96 car with a 4.6 as said above that is another kettle of fish and alot more involved.

The motor mount brackets need to be changed. Suspension and steeering linkage is different as well. Also the rear end is a spicer that will not hold up to a v8 very long.

id go with a carb set up as well. Pull off the efi manifold and bolt on a carb set up. Youll need to get 65-66 mustang v8 motor mounts. You need to also get a front sump oil pan and oil pump. The oil dipstick needs to be drilled in the front timing chain cover. You will need v8 headers and a different distributor with a roller cam gear. You will learn as you go. Its nothing major but just a bunch of little things like so.
