random observation #2

ok.. so i was at work right, and we get free fountain drinks all day. well, you figure after working there for 2 years, 30+ hours a week, you get tired of drinking Coke, Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, Lemonade, Strawberry Fanta, Diet Dr. Pepper, Sprite, & Root Beer. So, i tend to mix stuff alot, and see what tastes good. let me say this straight up, i love pink lemonade. it rules! so anyways.. yesterday i was at work and decided.. hey, maybe i should try lemonade with just a very very small portion of strawberry. ive tried strawberry lemonade before (half and half), but now i was only putting a smidgen of strawberry in. well, to my surprise.. it tasted JUST LIKE pink lemonade! so.. i come to the conclusion that pink lemonade was invented by someone who was mixing drinks, and just added a small amount of strawberry to lemonade. of course, when its manufacterd im sure its made differently..

anyways.. that was my random observation. have a good day.:2thumbup:

nah... it was actually more red than pink. that damned fanta is strong. but yea, im pretty sure it was pink lemonade.. however, i havent had it in like.. a week, so maybe my taste buds were tricking me?

ahh yes, that would fall in line with how the "special sauce" was created for McDonalds Big Macs....Patrick, any input on this??

All of these, along with dipping french fries in your Wendy's shake was prolly created by some employee with nothing better to do...

ive been doing the lemonade and strawberry thing for a couple weeks now, and its great:2thumbup: try strawberry and sprite, or mix coffee and shake mix

Steak 'n Shake's special sauce = 2/3 thousand island + 1/3 french

it goes on friscos.... and umm... what else does it go on? uhh... patty melts, i think... get it?

thats old news yo. i started that when i first started at the W. take a regular size coffee cup, add some shake mix, 2 squirts of chocolate, about 8 sugars, and (optional) 2 packets of honey. then microwave it on the cinnroll timer... damn its good. and its a helluva caffeinee (sp?) boost as well.

My Girlfriend does the Frosty and fries thing at wendys... Whats up with that??? I think its kinda gross to.

Mac Sauce at Mc Donalds:

Thousand islands, Small onions, and some little bits of spices just to top it all off (such as salt and pepper) Oh yah, a DAB of mayo, for consistency.

Of course now that its manufactured, they do it different, but you get the jist.

they do do that.. i know a few girls i dated did as well.. its different i tried it once...

as for the fries with mayo.. its a european thing.. when i lived in germany ketchup was hard to come by eating off base...

are you sure dude? my g/f was born and lived in germany and in europe most of her life, and she says thats the whole reason why she loves ketchup.. ask mick how much my g/f loves ketchup! hahahahah

The last place I worked we made our own pink lemonade. They would store bought stuff and then crush blueberries and blackberries into it. So when you add strawberries its probaly not far off from "real" pink lemonade

hmm.. how long ago was that.. lol.. i only lived there three years... but maybe they did have it, but it cost extra or somethign... my parents were cheap asses. but i dotn remember eating much ketchup...hmm.
