range meet january 29th!

ok, we havent had on in a while, and it's time to welcome in the new year by unloading a few hundred rounds into those fierce paper targets...

anyways, the meet will be on saturday, January 29th at noon. it will be at bracken range over by rolling oaks mall.

it doesn't matter.

assuming we have a good turnout, there will be more then enough guns.

the only thing i have while my grand parents are in arkansas is my single shot .22 or would that seam stupid to bring?

we usually use pistols and shotguns, but i'm thinking about doing some rifle shooting this time.

hey..a .22 ain't stupid..i have a built up ruger 10/22 that i jus love to shoot!!!..it's a blast!!..and ammo is cheap!!.. :blkvnm:

Perhaps the range might be too busy on a saturday. Who's got some land we could use?

we've been doing this for a while and it's never been too busy.

there will be a much larger meet on febuary 19th. that one will be on private property south of san antonio. more details will be posted in the next couple weeks or so.

i'm kinda mad i'm gunna miss this next one:gil: well, i guess thats more money to spend at the gunshow...

i'm not sure. i don't know if this meet is gunna have a good turn out - 4 of the regulars(including myself) won't be there, and one of the others is still in afghanistan(but he'll be back in a month:mick: ). ive had a few people tell me that they're going, but none of them have said anything in this thread.

i think i might just cancel this one unless more people show interest. there's gunna be another one in less then a month anyway...

I'll be out there. I'm gonna bring out the 30-06 and I'm gonna ask Chuck if I can take the AR-15 and M-1 if he'll let me that is if he'snot comin out.

yeah, i'm pretty sure that he's gunna be in a sword seminar of some sort, and chances are that greg will be with him.

i'm gunna see if i can get someone to work my shift that day, so we'll see what happens...

I'm going to go to the Alzafar Shrine gun show instead. Next month will be better for a day at the range. I will make that one.

when's the next one? i know the saxet gun show won't be there until november, but i think there may be another one that stops there.

that place is about 1 mile from my house, so i like going there a little bit better...
