Ok, out of the eight or nine times i have gone to fast eddie's, that have carded me twice and the cover fee has been 5 dollars, but that's when i arrived at 7:00. I get to fast eddie's about 6:30 and walk in with no problem and start playing some pool. Well, 30 minutes later the waitress lady comes up to us and asks if we want anything, i say sure, can i have some water. Well at that time she asks for my id, she said the lady forgot to card when i first came, so they were doing it now. So after a few seconds of giving her a hard time about it, i give her my dl's. That's really not what bothered me the most, but then she told me that cover charge for minor's was 10 dollars. I couldn't figure out why it went up, so i asked her. She told me that some guy from next door had jumped out of the bed of some truck when they left that bar. I still couldn't figure out why cover charge had went up. Then she told me that the district manager had called and told them the new cover charge for minors. Still didn't make sense, but crap, by that time i didn't care anymore. I guess what bothers me is that they waited nearly 30 minutes to card me and gave me the excuse that they forgot to card me at the door and then tell me that cover charge had gone up to 10 dollars. I don't know, and at this point, i really don't care. That 10 dollars could have gone towards 3 gallons of gas, not for 2 hours worth of pool.

They probably charge a higher coverage due to that minors can't buy alcoholic beverages ,so they can't make any other money from minors except through hihger coverage charge. I know when I go out I'll spend an easy $50 first 2 hour on drinks alone with tipping.
