Rattle under the car???

When I get on it, I can hear a rattle like bbs in a beer can sorta under my car. It iether goes away or is much quieter when normal driving.

I had a similar problem with my 2000 GT and it was my throwout bearing?

Any ideas?

exhaust, maybe? i had that happen with both my GT and Cobra. L/Ts were barely tapping the driver's-side front swaybar during a hard launch or rough idle (mostly on a cold start). dunno what exhaust you have though.

if it goes away when you push the clutch in, chances are the throw out bearing

Hey Dan...There's a TSB regarding a rattle that seems like it's coming from the center stack (radio, console). It's caused by the H-Pipe hanger under the car. You can fix it yourself with a worm clamp.

I hear ya, my man...mostly, I'll fix whatever I can rather than taking it in and dealing with the crap. That's just me though. Hope you get it fixed bro...

It could possibly be the (I hope this is the name for it) heat shroud. It can vibrate and make noise sometimes. It use to DRIVE ME NUTZ!!!

Yeah that TSB mentioned above may solve your problem. Mine started rattling like that, under certain conditions; sounded like it was around the center console. Was fixed under warranty, putting those worm clamps (those radaitor hose clamps with a screw) on over the mid exhaust hangers, to stiffen them up.
