So i assume that its coming from bedhing the deck? what should i check? do?

that will work But...

You should try regrounding the radio and the amp first.

Thats "alternator noise" and is usually caused by a bad ground. The isolator really should be a last resort as most whine can be eliminated by providing a better ground.

Make sure its clean. No paint or rust. Also make sure its short. Try not to run the ground more than a few inches.

If that doesn't work get the isolater. and if that still doesn't work, i can send you a link to a more remote possibility. Its really 1 in a million otherwise I'd post it now.
