I'm not sure if there is a limit, but I'm the same as you in all other categories. I think they would get credit if they claimed us. This system they came up with is just whack!

Make sure your putting the correct amout of deductions or whatever the hell it asks. I kept putting 1 and 0 and the I tried 2 and it gave me my info.

Also, J if you call the number on the website, you wait for 20 minutes and then talk to someone and they can tell you either where its at or set you up for a claim. Good luck
I have tried 0, 1, 2 exemptions and still get nothing. What phone# do ya'll have to call and talk to someone.

I just got word today when I called the IRS that if you had preperation fees taken out of your return (ie you used a tax filing agency or turbo tax) you will receive a paper check. It's one of they ghey stipulations they have set forth to mind fuck everyone some more.

IMPORTANT: IRS goofed on some of us!!

They miscalculated the folks with kids ....

Those of you who "got shorted," check this out ...

IRS: Errors blocked child credit for up to 350K - USATODAY.com

Mine was shy of what I should have gotten ... and this may be why. Although the article states, "People need not contact the IRS or file additional paperwork, he said." Uh-huh. Yeah ....

And "He said the IRS will send letters to those who missed out on the refund and that checks for the child credit will be mailed out in July."

Summer Bonuses are on their way soon .... another-refund.

"PrePaying" them on a CC apparently does not apply to that ... I filed with TurboTax, but paid my fees with my credit card, and got my Direct Deposit the other day. Albeit a bit lighter than I had anticipated.

Thanks J, but I got an email today from turbo tax explaining that all DD refunds that had fees taken out of them will be getting rebates by mail only.

just checked the website, and looks like i get mine tomorrow. im curious about the figure, but then again, i dont wanna look a gift horse in the mouth.

Your total Stimulus payment was calculated as $709.00 and consists of the following:

* Basic Amount: $709.00.
* Qualifying Child Amount: $0.00 (Based on 0 qualifying children).

Your payment of $709.00 is scheduled to be deposited to your bank on May 23, 2008. If you do not receive the credit by May 28, 2008, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until May 28, 2008 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then.

Your Stimulus payment was reduced based on your 2007 qualifying income, or it was limited to the amount of your 2007 Net Income Tax Liability.

my regular tax refund was submitted like 2 weeks late, which in turn delayed my stimulus by that timeframe.
