No replies

I didnt get any replies so I broke down and went to varsity ford here in CS

Just pop it open and replace it with a CR2032 Lithium battery ($2.50 at Radio Shack)

This is for the 99+ any PATS Ford. :jeff:

This might be good info to know later.... but how did you "pop it open"? Did you just pry it with a flat blade screwdriver?

I wish Ford made the keys like BMW. The key itself has the buttons for lock, unlock, panic and trunk. And it recharges the battery whenever it is in the ignition and the car is running.

Oh well.

I wonder if you can take the key head and the fob apart and somehow make them into one.

Quick! Someone come up with a How-To mod. LSS can be the first to post it.

Edit: Ooops!
