Removing Cali emmsions

I got a 98 GT with many mods and recently hit something popping a hole in the tank. I orded a new one and when I got it I relized it doesnt have a spot for one of the sensors. Also had a problem a while back getting the right fuel pump to fit, think the one in there is a focus pump (has a green top). Went to ford and they said the sensors eventually came on 99 tanks but were first used in cali (stricter emmissions) before going nation wide. So if I can remove these emmission items what are they and where are they located. I have already changed the motor and CPU to a 32V and we didnt have any extra tubing running around.
