RPM @ 70MPH on auto 2007 gt ?

Alright fellas, it's been a while, the Cobra has been long gone, but the wife is through with school and I've been driving the G6 for too dang long. Got the bug a few weeks ago and found a nice 2007 DSG GT at the local mak haik. Test grove it just a little while ago, It's sitting on deep dish 18' chrome bullits, full exhaust with headers, and intake. Sales guy couldn't tell whether or not the gears had been swapped, but the car revved at 2100 right at 70MPH which seems a little high.... So am asking for you guys to chime in and shed some light on this matter. 2100 RPM sound right to you all ?..

Thanks in advance, Albert

With an auto and 18in rims sounds about right
A easy way to get close is jack it up rotate the tires and count the revolutions of the drive shaft for 1 rotation of the tire. It wont be exact but it will get ya an idea

2100 sounds about right, with stock 3.31 gears in the GT automatic; but you might not be quite going 70 mph, or it might be dead-on. It's within a couple mph; the 18's, if they didnt come stock on the car and if the car wasn't tuned for the tire change, you could be off slightly on the speedo.

Yup, checked today: around 2000-2100 rpm's doing 70 , with stock 3.31 gears and automatic. You're ok.

Well thanks for the input guys, but I didn't get the stang as the dealer wouldn't give me the internet price on the vehicle when we got to the paper work and then tried some more weird math on me on a 08' gt/cs, so I walked away from both those deals. All I can say is that Mak Haik Ford in Georgetown stinks!! Since I really liked the way the CS model looked, I found a new 08' Black Convertible GT/CS and took delivery this morning
First thing I noticed was how quiet it is, so now looking at aftermarket for some rumble.. I'm off to update my sig.
