    The rule against Newbies posting new threads in the Classfieds has been changed.

    There is no longer a 50 post requirement before a member can post something for sale in the Classifieds section.

    We gave that rule a try for a few months and I have not seen much of a positive effect come from it. Instead, I have been getting 1-2 emails every single day from newbies that register and ask why they can't post. I'm getting tired of having to explain the rule every day. And it has also created more work for the Moderators as many of the newbies try to spam the Introduce Yourself section to get to 50 posts quicker.

    I just believe it's more hassle than it's worth. The whole point was to try and protect members from being scammed, but there's really only little that we can do to help prevent that. Ultimately it comes down to the members being smart and cautious about who they deal with in the Classifieds.

    But I am going to add a new section to the Classifieds for Buyer/Seller Feedback. So that, along with the iTrader system, should help.

    Well I'm sure you were tired of the emails Jeff, as busy as you are I'm sure you wouldn't have time to deal with each one with enough time needed. Oh well, I guess we'll just see what happens. I haven't had any problems here either. Of course I don't reply to newbies selling stuff unless it really interests me. Even like that I'd prefer to buy or sell to someone I can meet in person and who is local. Good luck to all!

    If this is for me thanks, I really like this site. I was just in a hurry to sale something and that was the only possible way on here. But i have changed my mind and want to keep what i have.
