    Runs rough when cold

Just put a new edelbrock 600cfm carb on my 67 with a 302. I runs rough when i first start it, then idles great when warmed up. Any ideas what would cause this. It will die a couple of times when I first start it. Do I need to adjust the air/fuel screw? It didnt used to do this with the old carb (edelbrock 800cfm) so im thinking I just need to adjust something. Thanks guys!

i think its standard on the edlebrock carbs to have the air fuel screws to be turned 3 and a half turns out. If you dont have a choke then it might take a little bit to warm up as well. It shouldn't be that much of a problem here in texas though.

Thanks Scott, I turned the screws out (they were only one turn out) and it seems to run better, thanks!!
