true...but at the same time a lot of people rely on us for a lot of what their country needs. maybe if they wont run to our aid they may just stay neutral...which could be a good thing?

I would be more concerned with China in the next 20-30 years versus mother Russia . Right now they have a little extra spending money but from what I have heard from people that have recently visited , its not being spent where it should be . They say that the infastructure of Russia is completely gone to hell . I do not see how they plan on becoming a true super power again when they cannot even get their own crap cleaned up . It takes more than a few planes and tanks to become a super power .

I disagree with the last part. McCain nor Obama is the right person for 'this'. The right person isn't running (Ron Paul) due to many issues I won't get into right now. The best choice we got on the ballot though, Bob Barr.

I am still trying to figure out where we disagree so much on. You don't have liberal views and neither do I. Just because we don't agree on Iraq, Religion, Abortion and the person best qualified to run this country doesn't mean we rarely disagree. My bet is we don't talk about much more than those three topics on here so you don't have a chance to see my other views that might fall more in line with yours.
