Saw a Saleen Focus Today

Yup. White focus with a full Saleen kit. Even had the stickers. I had to look a couple of times just to figure out what it was. Sorry no pics. Looked pretty clean, not too ricey, once i saw the saleen stripes it was all over though.:2thumbdwn

yeah i used to see that focus all the time on jonesmaltsburger

i actually thought it looked pretty nice for an "import style" car.

not sure that i would drive it though :2thumbup:

yea, i think that guy works somewhere at jonesmaltsberger and thousand oaks. i always see his car in the parking lot of that HEB.

That's a buddy of mine who is the founder of BIG D'S MOTORSPORTS, his name is dan. He also has a 302 Bronco 2 which is pretty nice.

I see alot of the SVT Focus around but never a Saleen Focus. Of course I havent been in the Jones Maltsburger area in a while.

is it a replica saleen bodykit or did saleen actually hook up a focus?
if its "real", i wonder what they did to the engine? could they have dropped a blower/turbo in der? maybe a 6-speed tranny like the svt... ? sounds like a waste of money to me.

it's just a body kit as of now, he has a new motor going in it w/ complete custom twin turbo setup, it's a nice car. really have to see in in person. it's got nice white rims now to go along w/ the paint so it's really clean lookin.

I was reading one of my bros import mags and they were talking about a focus that they threw a cobra motor and all the fixings in to rear wheel drive and all.
