Scratch/Swirl Mark Removers

I've used Zaino on my ride to remove some fine scratches but it's kinda costly. Has anyone used any other product and had great results? I'm especially curious about Meguiars products, anyone tried them? What we're your results?

i use mother's clay bar and cleaner wax that comes in the kit. the wax is real easy to use, but not very thick.

3m light oxidation remover wax is awesome, but a pain in the arse to get off....but the results are great! you cant let it sit long at all either.

also, i wash my car with baby shampoo. you could try doing that after giving it a good wax job. the wax lasts longer with the milder soaps.

NEVER take your black/dark colored car to a car wash

Meguiar's has some good stuff. I used them before switching to Zaino. I used the Meguiar's Gold Class stuff.

Check out Meguiar's Scratch X. I think I have a tube of it; If I can find it, I'll bring it to Biff's. I haven't used it in a long time so I don't remeber what the results were.

Well I applied two coats of Meguiar's Scratch X to the trunk and it looks real good, but the swirls from the previous owner are still there.

I guess it wil have to be Zaino or one of those others with a buffer.

You can buy 3m Perfect it II rubbing compound (clear coat safe) and it does wonders... but I would not use it every week or what not, maybe once a year~

I had a black 01 for nearly 5 years and when it was sold a bit back it was in near immaculate condition. Black gets these scratches... its just part of owning a black car
