seat belt doesn't rewind

Both driver and Passanger seat belt's wont like rewind. what could it be..what should i do. its getting kinda annoying now.

Sometimes if you pull them out real slow, they will wind back up, otherwise, like Chris said, time for a new retractor.

My 98 does the same crap on both pass side and drivers side! I have to help it wind back up to get it to go back. PITA, I can't even count how many times I have closed my doors and had the seat belt still hanging out of it and had to go back and fix it!

I am thinking so...I know SEVERAL people with the same body style as mine that have had issues with their seat belts. Hell, for a while I thought maybe it was just the 94-98 body styles that got screwed with this problem but apparently it is more than just 94-98 when it comes to seat belts!!

My '92 Mazda does it, and my '94 F150 does it ...

Methinks it's more an AGE thing, than a Ford thing ...
