seat belt sleeve tool removal

I just got seat belt sleeves for my 89 and not sure of the size tool I need to take them off,any one know? Thanks folks!

If memory serves me, it is a 55 torx bit

your memory is great.. why cant they just use one damn bolt style for the whole car.. torx hex, metric, standard... that crap gets anoying..

They still use it on the newer ones too, just the lower bolts though.

Where can I buy a kit? Looked online and couldnt find a 55, sears?

i got mine at advance auto.. didnt last long tho(when i was putting the bolts back in the edges of the torx curled in..POS bit.. i would check sears for a craftsman.

+1, if you buy a torx bit set, be sure its craftsman, mac, snap-on, matco or another name brand that will replace your tools if damaged!!

I bought a decent set at Orielys a few yrs back still have um and still work great. If you are not using them daily they will ast a Pro Mech needs the high dollar stuff for daily use.

Although Craftsman is good a replacing all my broke stuff. I need to take a 1/4 in ratchet back lol
