September 10th- Hurricane Katrina Car Meet/Show
 Hurricane Katrina Relief Car Meet/Show When: September 10th, 2005 Location: Pier Landing (Pierlanding.net) 14550 Beechnut St Houston, TX 77083-5741, US Directions Time: 10am-4pm At 4:15pm we will all cruise to a donation drop-off location (hopefully with our cars full) Info: Please support the victims of Katrina, we help many countries, now it is time to help our neighbors. This is a car meet/car show where we can hang out, and have a good time, while supporting a good cause. Each car that enters is $10 minimum. (http://www.redcross.org/article/0,10...2_4498,00.html Money is the best donation. ) We will be selling food (BBQ), burgers and hot dogs, 100% of the money goes to the red cross. We hope to see you there, lets make a difference. To Donate Directly: http://www.redcross.org/ Bring anything that you have, the #1 most important item is bottled water. You can buy a 24 pack of bottled water at any Wal-Mart or Sam's for less than $4. If not that, then canned food (not like beans, etc, actual food) old clothes, toys (for kids), books, blankets etc. We spend 100's if not thousands on our cars, think of the people that only have the clothes that they are wearing. Houston, we need to come together on this, this is not any forum sponsored event, nor is this an individual effort by myself. We are all in this together, so lets get this done. Where is everyone that wants to help? If you have already done something, great! I am talking to the ones that say they want to do something, but have not done anything yet. Come on guys, lets do something.

well the day is tomorrow guys. I just filled three trash bags full of clothes and shoes. I know you guys have some old stuff lying around. U don't have to give money, but give something. Free BBQ too, see you guys out there.
